Sabudana Flour Laddu in Marathi
Time: 30 minutes
Makes: 15 medium Laddus
Ingredients:
1 cup sabudana flour
3/4 cup pure ghee, melted
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup dried dates powder (coarse)
1/2 cup dry coconut, grated and dry-roasted
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
Method:
1) Heat a kadai, add ghee and sabudana flour. Roast over medium heat until color changes slightly. It wil take about 10 to 15 minutes.
2) Once sabudana flour is done, remove it from flame. Add dates powder, sugar, coconut and cardamom powder. Mix well.
3) Let the mixture cools down and become handleable. Shape laddu into round balls.
Tips:
1) These laddus are very delicate, hence handle them carefully.
2) Dried dates powder is optional. However it gives body and texture to the laddus.
